Fundamentalmente procrastinar se mantiene en nuestro repertorio de h\u00e1bitos porque a corto plazo es\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">gratificante.<\/span><\/strong> Nos ayuda a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>evitar<\/strong><\/span> aquello que nos desagrada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo h\u00e1bito se instaura porque viene seguido de una gratificaci\u00f3n inmediata, un refuerzo, un premio.\u00a0En este caso, este h\u00e1bito nos permite, entre otras situaciones:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Liberarnos temporalmente del estr\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/span> La tensi\u00f3n se reduce porque nos aleja de algo amenazante o doloroso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Reducir el miedo a ser juzgado<\/strong><\/span>, al posponer el momento del juicio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Alargar el proceso<\/strong><\/span> (decisiones, proyectos, fechas l\u00edmite) hasta que sea asumido por otra persona y evitar ser responsable de las consecuencias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Retrasar la adquisici\u00f3n de un producto<\/strong><\/span>, obteniendo el beneficio en la reducci\u00f3n del coste o del propio deseo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Librarnos de posibles consecuencias negativas<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0(un examen que no estudiamos y que se cancela, una reuni\u00f3n que se tiene que anular y no hab\u00edamos preparado, etc).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estas situaciones son doblemente reforzantes, ya que nos libramos de aquello que tememos y adem\u00e1s, sentimos que hemos reservado energ\u00edas, o que nuestra sensaci\u00f3n de que ese proyecto no iba a salir se ve constatada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Afrontar decisiones.<\/strong><\/span> Ya que se resuelven, bien por la obtenci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n en el proceso de demora o porque la oportunidad pasa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La procrastinaci\u00f3n se valora como un problema, cuando es realidad es un <em>s\u00edntoma<\/em>. Las etiquetas negativas (vago, perezoso, irresponsable), y las pautas de organizaci\u00f3n enlas que se aumentan las exigencias, lejos de ayudar, nos atacan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por ello, analizar el c\u00f3mo, cu\u00e1ndo y por qu\u00e9 de las procrastinaciones es necesario para conocer cuando nuestras\u00a0creencias negativas nos conducen a patrones de comportamiento que no nos benefician.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ser conscientes de ese h\u00e1bito, como v\u00eda de escape de nuestro conflicto interno, y de la ansiedad vivida, ser\u00e1 un importante paso para enfrentar aquellos miedos y manejarlos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ya vimos en el post \u00bfMejor para ma\u00f1ana? el conjunto\u00a0de factores\u00a0que daban lugar a este tipo de comportamiento.
